Sir,
I, on behalf of the students of your school, would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that we have a big library in our school but the facilities provided in the library are not sufficient. It lacks some essential books such as, science fiction, travel-story, popular story books by the famous writers. Besides, no journal is supplied for us. Moreover, reading space is not enough. So, we also need two more reading tables and a ceiling fan to meet up our increasing demand.
I, therefore, pray that you would be kind enough to take necessary steps to provide us the facilities stated above and oblige thereby.

Dear Sir,
We, the students of class XI of your college beg most respectfully to state that a library is the store house of knowledge and the heart of an educational institution. Unfortunately, the facilities of our college library are very poor for want of some essential books and furniture. As a result, our academic progress is being greatly hampered.
আমরা আপনার কলেজের একাদশ শ্রেণীর শিক্ষার্থীরা অত্যন্ত বিনীতভাবে জানাচ্ছি যে, গ্রন্থাগার হলো জ্ঞানের ভাণ্ডার এবং একটি শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রাণকেন্দ্র। দুর্ভাগ্যবশত, প্রয়োজনীয় কিছু বই ও আসবাবপত্রের অভাবে আমাদের কলেজ গ্রন্থাগারের সুযোগ-সুবিধা অত্যন্ত অপ্রতুল। এর ফলে আমাদের শিক্ষাগত অগ্রগতি মারাত্মকভাবে ব্যাহত হচ্ছে।
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take necessary steps to increase the library facilities in the college and oblige thereby.

Dear Sir
We have the honour to draw your kind attention to the fact that the condition of our college library has become poor and deplorable. Most of the books have worn out and many of them are outdated regarding their contents and ideas. Again there are not adequate copies of books for which we cannot borrow the necessary books. There is also a great scarcity of reference books.
আমরা আপনার সদয় দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করছি যে, আমাদের কলেজ গ্রন্থাগারের অবস্থা অত্যন্ত শোচনীয় হয়ে পড়েছে। অধিকাংশ বই জরাজীর্ণ হয়ে গেছে এবং বিষয়বস্তু ও ধারণার দিক থেকে অনেক বই-ই সেকেলে হয়ে পড়েছে। এছাড়া বইয়ের পর্যাপ্ত কপি না থাকায় আমরা প্রয়োজনীয় বই ধার নিতে পারছি না। এখানে রেফারেন্স বইয়েরও তীব্র অভাব রয়েছে।
Besides, there are no literary or science magazines in the library. The supply of dailies and weekly magazines is very poor nowadays. The accommodation problem is also very acute. Most of the chairs and tables have become out of use, and the entire environment has become unsuitable to study.
তাছাড়া, গ্রন্থাগারে কোনো সাহিত্য বা বিজ্ঞান বিষয়ক সাময়িকী নেই। আজকাল দৈনিক পত্রিকা ও সাপ্তাহিক ম্যাগাজিনের সরবরাহও খুবই অপ্রতুল। বসার জায়গার সমস্যাটিও অত্যন্ত প্রকট। অধিকাংশ চেয়ার-টেবিলই এখন ব্যবহারের অনুপযোগী হয়ে পড়েছে এবং পুরো পরিবেশটিই পড়াশোনার জন্য আর উপযুক্ত নেই।
Under the above circumstances, we pray and hope that your honour would be kind enough to take necessary steps to solve the problems and increase library facilities.
এমতাবস্থায়, আমরা বিনীত প্রার্থনা ও আশা রাখি যে, আপনি সদয় হয়ে সমস্যাগুলোর সমাধান এবং গ্রন্থাগারের সুযোগ-সুবিধা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করবেন।
