A Book Fair Paragraph for Class 12 & Class 10

A book fair is an amazing (আশ্চর্যজনক) fair where different types of books are displayed for show-off and sale. A book fair is usually (সাধারণত) held in January and February throughout (সর্বত্র) the country in different (ভিন্ন) places.

The biggest book fair “Ekushe Boi Mela” is held in February on the occasion of 21st February. It is organized by Bangla Academy (বাংলা একাডেমী) on the Bangla Academy (একাডেমী) campus and Suhrawardy Uddan. The purpose (উদ্দেশ্য) of a book fair is not mainly for selling books.

A book fair helps to develop the publication (প্রকাশনা) of books, inspires new writers, and creates interest for books among general people (সাধারণ জনগণ). Books are also sold at a cheaper rate than the usual rate for inspiring (অনুপ্রেরণামূলক) people to buy more books.

All types of visitors (দর্শক) gather at a book fair. Writers, publishers (প্রকাশক), readers, book lovers, children and many other people come to visit (পরিদর্শন করা) and buy books at a book fair. Usually, the stalls get crowded in the evening.

In a book fair, hundreds of stalls are arranged (সাজানো) where all types of books are displayed. Academic (একাডেমিক) books, storybooks, fiction books, children’s books, drama (নাটক) books etc. are displayed in different (ভিন্ন) pavilion.

The stalls are also decorated creatively and attractively (আকর্ষণীয়ভাবে) that motivates the visitors. There are also refreshment (সতেজতা) sections in a book fair, such as seminars and cultural programmes are held.

There are food and tea stalls around (চারদিক) the premises. A book fair is an important গুরুত্বপূর্ণ) arrangement for the betterment of education and spreading knowledge. It reminds (মনে করি দেওয়া) us that books are our best friends, it increases (বৃদ্ধি করা) our outlook.

It also promotes the refined taste and national culture of a country. So, we should visit book fairs every year to buy books and enrich our frame of mind.

A book fair is a kind of fair where different (ভিন্ন) types of books are displayed for sale. Book fair is now held in every city and town (শহর এবং গ্রাম) too. It has recently become very popular (জনপ্রিয়) in our country. People (জনগণ) go to the fair to find their desired books.

In Bangladesh, a book fair (একটি বই মেলা) is arranged on the occasion of 21 February, 16 December, 26th March and Bangla New Year. The fair is held in an open place or in auditorium or in a big hall-room.

In our country, the largest book fair (বই মেলা) is held on the premises of Bangla Academy on the occasion of 21st February, All kinds of books such as fiction, drama, poetry, novel, biography, translation, children (শিশু) literature, story books etc. are usually available in a book fair (একটি বই মেলা).

A book fair usually (সাধারণত) remains crowded. People from all walks (হাটা) of life visit the fair. People who are book lovers come (আসা) to the fair to buy books and to enjoy the fair. Young boys and girls gather here to find (খুঁজে পাওয়া) out books of their favourite authors.
